Discipline and the Lack Thereof, A Kingdom Truth They Can’t Cancel
Let’s not start soft, discipline is a divine principle, not a political preference.
When you see grown adults stomping down streets screaming “No kings! No Trump! No rules!” what you’re really witnessing is a generation that has no idea what rulership under God means. They’re not rebelling against a man, they’re rebelling against order, against justice, against the structure of God’s design. It is complete lawlessness. Complete Iniquity.
And yes, Saturday, June 14, 2025, marks 250 years of the United States Army. That’s 250 years of discipline, structure, sacrifice, and submission to authority. Not lawlessness. Not feelings. But duty. And how do they celebrate that? By protesting the very foundations that army exists to defend.
This “No Kings” protest, let’s peel it back. They think they’re raging against tyranny. But let’s be clear. The only King this world ever rejected perfectly was the only one truly worthy of a crown, Yeshua, the anointed one of God. And they nailed Him to a stake.
The same spirit is alive today. The Greek calls it anomia, lawlessness. And lawlessness is not freedom. It’s slavery to your passions. It’s what Paul called in Galatians 5:17 the flesh at war with the Spirit. They call it “liberation.” God calls it rebellion. And He WILL punish for it!!!
“For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace…”, 1 Corinthians 14:33
That word disorder in Greek is akatastasia, it means instability, a state of confusion, political disturbance, or insurrection. Sound familiar?
And let’s not dance around this either, Trump is not the Messiah, but the hate for him isn’t really about him. It’s about what he symbolizes: discipline, boundaries, national identity, economic accountability, military strength, moral standards. The very things this generation, raised by screens, feelings, and TikTok tantrums, despises.
They chant “No Kings” because deep down they want to do what Judges 21:25 describes:
“…every man did what was right in his own eyes.”
No King? Oh, they’ve got a king. His name is self. Or worse, Satan. Because the minute you reject Godly discipline, you fall into the arms of the one who whispered to Eve, “Did God really say…?”
Discipline is not abuse. It’s protection. It’s wisdom. It’s love.
“My son, do not despise the discipline of the Lord, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.”, Proverbs 3:11–12
The Hebrew word used here for “discipline” is musar, it means correction, instruction, reproof, and even chastisement. But it’s purposeful. It’s the shepherd’s staff, not the butcher’s cleaver.
The United States, for all her faults, was founded on the concept that freedom must be governed by moral order, or it devours itself. John Adams said it straight:
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Well, here we are. A people who want liberty without law, benefits without responsibility, rights without righteousness. They want military protection but hate the military’s discipline. They want prosperity but despise hard work. They want to “speak truth to power,” but only if that truth makes them feel good and affirms their delusions.
But let God’s Word tell you HIS truth:
God’s discipline is always tied to purpose. Hebrews 12:11 says it best:
“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
That word trained is gumnazō in Greek, it means to be exercised, strengthened, like an athlete in a gym. You want a strong people? Discipline them. You want a weak one? Let them indulge every urge and call it “rights.”
So here we are. America is at the crossroads.
Will she choose discipline, even when it’s unpopular? Will she honor her soldiers, her veterans, her builders, her creators, her truth-tellers, even when the mob wants them silenced? Will she remember that freedom without moral anchor becomes a ship with no rudder?
Or will she fall into anomia, where rebellion masquerades as righteousness, where sloth wears a crown, and where demons dance on the graves of everything we once called sacred?
I say this with fire in my bones: God is watching. And He is not mocked.
“Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.”, Revelation 3:19
If you want to rebuild this nation, don’t protest. Repent. Don’t scream in the streets. Kneel in the prayer closet. Don’t shout “No Kings.” Proclaim Yeshua is King, and let His rule begin in your soul.
Because whether they like it or not, every knee will bow. Not to Trump. Not to Biden. Not to Pharaoh or Caesar or Prime Minister or mob leader.
But to Yeshua, the righteous King of Kings. And He disciplines those He loves. Which means He is coming, not just to comfort, but to correct.
So if you love this nation, pray. Speak truth. Stand firm. And above all… stay disciplined. The King is coming.
