The prophets spoke of a time when the eyes of all would be opened, not only to the signs in the heavens and on the earth, but to the truth that had long been hidden in plain sight. The very nations that once scoffed, the peoples who hardened their hearts and turned away from יהוה YHWH, would begin to see, and they would be drawn toward Him. Scripture consistently presents blindness as a matter of the heart rather than the eyes. The Hebrew word ayin עַיִן ‘eye, perception, understanding describes the ability to truly see. When יהוה YHWH opens eyes, He restores discernment and understanding, not merely sight.
The prophet Zechariah spoke of a moment when יהוה YHWH would be recognized openly and universally. “And יהוה YHWH shall be King over all the earth. In that day יהוה YHWH shall be one, and His name one” Zechariah 14:9. The Hebrew melek מֶלֶךְ king, ruler, acknowledged authority refers to recognized authority, not forced domination. At that time, truth will overwhelm resistance.
This aligns with the later declaration that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord Philippians 2:10–11. The Greek exomologeō ἐξομολογέω to openly confess, acknowledge shows that recognition of truth will be unavoidable. Confession here is voluntary acknowledgment of reality, not coercion.
Isaiah foretold that the nations beyond Israel would come to the light of God’s glory. “Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising” Isaiah 60:3. The Hebrew goyim גּוֹיִם nations, Gentiles confirms that the prophecy extends beyond Israel. From the promise to Abraham, all families of the earth were always included in God’s plan Genesis 12:3.
In the time of Messiah, this prophecy began to unfold openly. Yeshua reached out to those far off, those considered outside the covenant. He healed, taught, and restored without compromise. Mercy was extended, but truth was never diluted. Yet Isaiah’s prophecy stretches beyond the first century. Today, we continue to see the nations awaken, hearts softening before the truth of יהוה YHWH.
Yeshua declared, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” John 8:12. The Greek phōs φῶς light, revealing light that exposes truth leaves no shadow untouched. Light demands a response.
When Yeshua said, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself” John 12:32, He used the Greek helkō ἕλκω to draw, to pull toward. This drawing is not coercion, but the irresistible exposure to truth that comes from His sacrifice. Jew and Gentile, believer and unbeliever alike are confronted.
Paul emphasizes the urgency of this mission: “How then can they call on Him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing? And how can they hear without someone proclaiming Him?” Romans 10:14–15. “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Messiah” Romans 10:17. The Greek akouō ἀκούω to hear with understanding shows that hearing opens the heart, and the Holy Spirit makes it fertile soil.
Isaiah assures us that God’s word will not fail. “So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth. It shall not return to Me empty, but shall accomplish what I desire” Isaiah 55:11. Resistance may delay response, but truth cannot be stopped.
In Revelation, the culmination of this awakening is revealed. John sees a multitude no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and the Lamb Revelation 7:9–10. The Greek ethnos ἔθνος nation, people confirms this is a worldwide gathering. Those who were once unbelievers are drawn by God’s love and transformed by His truth.
We live in a time when the seeds of this great harvest are being sown. Even the hardened, the mockers, and those who dismissed God’s ways are beginning to see truth they cannot ignore. The world is awakening to something greater than itself. The world is awakening to יהוה YHWH. The apostle John warned, “Who is the liar but the one who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son” 1 John 2:22. The Greek arneomai ἀρνέομαι to deny, to reject deliberately reminds us that rejection is not final; hearts can still turn.
Yeshua Himself spoke of this transformation even to the criminal on the cross. In that moment of death, the man turned and believed. Yeshua said, “Truly I say to you today, you will be with Me in paradise” Luke 23:43. The original Greek contains no punctuation. The word sēmeron σήμερον today, a declaration of certainty does not indicate timing. Yeshua was laid in the grave and rose on the third day 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, and after His resurrection, He said, “I have not yet ascended to the Father” John 20:17. The promise was real and immediate, but its fulfillment awaited resurrection life. No heart is too far gone.
So it is time to look up. The signs are not for the faithful alone—they testify to all who are willing to see. As God pours out His Spirit and the gospel is proclaimed to every corner, even those who rejected Him will begin to see the light and be drawn toward His glory. The time is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord.
Yet as we look up, we must also look around. Many we love walk in darkness, unaware of salvation. Scripture commands us to pray for them. “This is the confidence we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” 1 John 5:14. Prayer is active partnership with God.

We are also called to remember those who suffer for their faith. “Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them” Hebrews 13:3. The body of Messiah is one body. Their trials strengthen us, and our prayers sustain them.
Satan knows his time is short. “The devil has come down with great wrath, because he knows that his time is short” Revelation 12:12. The Greek oligos kairos ὀλίγος καιρός short, limited season reminds us his fury is desperate. Stand firm, for his end is certain.
Look up. Pray. Intercede. Stand firm. As the world awakens and God’s kingdom advances, remain watchful and faithful. Redemption is drawing near. The light is rising. Darkness will not prevail.
Prayer
Father יהוה YHWH,
We come before You with humble hearts, knowing that You alone open eyes and soften hearts. Draw those who still walk in darkness toward Your truth. Awaken faith where there has been resistance. Strengthen Your people who suffer for Your name. Guard the faithful, steady the weary, and keep us watchful and prayerful in these days. Let Your word go forth and accomplish all You desire. In the name of Yeshua the Messiah, Amen and Amen
